Frequently Asked Questions | Hobby jazda Lipovník
Frequently Asked Questions If you are planning your first horse ride or you are not sure what to expect, we have prepared answers to the most common questions. We hope they will help you choose the right ride and book your preferred date at Hobby jazda Lipovník. 1. How does it work? Will I ride alone? Every ride takes place with a guide, you never go alone. When you arrive, we will welcome you and before the ride your guide will explain all important information. Our goal is to make sure you feel safe, comfortable and well prepared before the ride starts. 2. Is there a changing area, and should I bring my own helmet? Yes, there is a changing room, toilet, restroom and parking available. We also provide riding helmets and protective vests, so you do not need to bring your own if you do not have them. If you have your own equipment, you are welcome to use it. 3. Am I a beginner or an advanced rider? It is very important to assess your riding skills honestly. A beginner is someone who has little or no riding experience, has only ridden a few times, or does not feel confident in the saddle. An advanced rider is someone who can control the horse in open terrain in all three gaits – walk, trot and canter. If you are unsure, we recommend choosing the beginner level or contacting us for advice. 4. What is the difference between an English saddle and a western saddle? A western saddle is wider and more comfortable, and it has a horn that beginners often like to hold, even though this is not technically correct. For less experienced riders, it often feels more stable and comfortable. An English saddle is more suitable for active and faster riding, and the rider stays balanced mainly through leg position and correct seat. 5. How can I book a date? You can make a booking through www.hobbyjazdalipovnik.sk , via WhatsApp, Messenger, or by calling +421 948 091 547. We prefer phone calls because they allow us to agree on the most suitable date, riding level and other details more easily. 6. What clothing is suitable for horse riding? We recommend long trousers, sturdy closed shoes and comfortable clothing suitable for the weather. Slippers, sandals, shoes without firm support and very loose clothing are not recommended. Comfort and safety are the most important. Recommended age The recommended age for riding is 15 and above. If you are unsure whether a ride is suitable for you, or if you need help choosing a date, please contact us and we will be happy to help.
