At Hobby Jazda Lipovník, we offer horseback riding experiences in the natural surroundings of the Slovak Karst. Our rides are suitable for beginners as well as more experienced riders, but we always focus on making the ride safe and pleasant for both participants and horses. Our regular rides are suitable for participants aged 15 and above and always take place with a guide. For beginners, we recommend calm walking rides, where you can get familiar with the horse, the saddle and riding in natural terrain. No previous riding experience is needed – what matters most is a calm approach, respect for the horse and following the guide’s instructions. More experienced riders can choose longer or more dynamic routes according to their abilities. The pace and route are always adapted to the weather, trail conditions, horses and riders’ experience. When riding in nature, safety always comes first. A protective helmet is mandatory for every participant and we provide it before the ride. We ride in small groups, so every guest can enjoy a calmer atmosphere, more personal approach and a better connection with the horse and the surrounding nature. Horse riding near Lipovník can be a lovely activity during a weekend in Gemer, a holiday in the Slovak Karst or a trip near Rožňava. It is an experience for people who enjoy nature, animals and moments when time seems to slow down for a while. Horse Program for Events

Add a unique attraction to your event with our horses. We offer horse-related entertainment programs for village festivals, town celebrations, corporate events, family gatherings, festivals, and other social occasions. Our calm and reliable horses create a memorable experience and a special atmosphere for visitors of all ages. We tailor the program to the nature of the event and the age of the participants. Safety, animal welfare, and a positive experience for all visitors are our top priorities. Thanks to our experience, we can provide an attractive horse program for both small community events and larger public gatherings. The price is €150 per horse. Horse ride – introductory

The ideal choice for your first horseback ride in nature. The introductory ride is meant for non-riders and beginners aged 15 and over. We ride at a calm pace (walk) under the guide's supervision, so you can comfortably get to know the horse and riding outdoors. Enjoy the peace of the Slovak Karst and the views from horseback. Maximum 4 people per ride.

For experienced riders who want to spend a whole day in the saddle. The full-day ride is meant for advanced riders who can independently control a horse outdoors in all gaits (walk, trot, canter). A long route through the Slovak Karst with breaks for rest awaits you. Bring your own food; a campfire barbecue is possible by arrangement. Maximum 4 people per ride.
