At Hobby Jazda Lipovník, we offer horseback riding experiences in the beautiful surroundings of the Slovak Karst, where every rider can choose a route according to their experience, confidence and expectations. Our rides are suitable for participants aged 15 and above. This age limit is set for safety reasons, due to the character of our routes and the nature of riding horses in open terrain. Riding in nature is different from a short ride in an enclosed area – it requires responsibility, attention to the guide’s instructions, and respect for the horse and the environment. For beginners, we recommend calm walking rides, where participants can get familiar with the horse, experience being in the saddle and enjoy their first contact with horse riding in nature. These rides take place at a peaceful pace and are always guided. They are also suitable for non-riders who would like to try something special during a weekend trip or holiday in the Gemer region. For more experienced riders, we offer routes that provide a more dynamic experience in nature. When choosing a suitable ride, it is important to honestly assess your riding skills. An advanced rider should be able to control a horse safely in open terrain at a walk, trot and canter. The pace of every ride is adapted to the riders’ abilities, trail conditions and weather. Safety is our top priority. A protective helmet is mandatory for every participant. You do not need to bring your own – we provide helmets before the ride. During the entire ride, all participants must follow the guide’s instructions, avoid overtaking the guide and respect the rules of safe horse riding. Every ride is also a meeting with a horse, and every horse deserves a calm and respectful approach. Our goal is not speed or performance, but a safe and enjoyable experience in nature. That is why we ride in small groups and focus on an individual approach to every participant. If you are not sure which route is the best choice for you, we will be happy to help you decide. Horse Program for Events

Add a unique attraction to your event with our horses. We offer horse-related entertainment programs for village festivals, town celebrations, corporate events, family gatherings, festivals, and other social occasions. Our calm and reliable horses create a memorable experience and a special atmosphere for visitors of all ages. We tailor the program to the nature of the event and the age of the participants. Safety, animal welfare, and a positive experience for all visitors are our top priorities. Thanks to our experience, we can provide an attractive horse program for both small community events and larger public gatherings. The price is €150 per horse. Walking Trail Ride

The perfect choice for your first horseback riding experience in nature. This trail ride is intended for riders aged 15 and above who would like to experience horse riding in nature or gain their first experience outside an arena. The ride takes place at a calm walking pace under the supervision of a guide and is suitable for non-riders and beginners. During the ride, you will enjoy the beauty of the Slovak Karst, peaceful natural surroundings, and unique views from horseback. The route follows easy terrain, allowing participants to safely become familiar with horses and trail riding. A maximum of 4 participants can join one ride. If you are looking for a longer or more challenging experience, we recommend choosing one of our other trail rides or contacting us directly. Advanced Horseback Ride

For riders who want to fully experience the freedom of riding in nature. This route is intended for advanced riders who can confidently control a horse in all gaits (walk, trot, and canter) while riding in open terrain. The trail leads through the beautiful landscapes of the Slovak Karst and offers a unique riding experience in nature. The approximately 6 km route follows meadows, country roads, and natural trails where experienced riders can fully enjoy horseback riding and the connection with their horse. The pace of the ride is adapted to trail conditions, rider abilities, and weather conditions. The ride is limited to a maximum of 2 participants to ensure a personal approach and a safe riding experience.
